PS5 VS GAMING PC WHICH YOU SHOULD GO FOR AND WHY

Every year when new consoles are about to be released they always try to convince the public that this on will have no bug issues what so ever but I have been fooled twice and to be honest I don't trust them anymore. Whatever they say about their new lightning fast ssd's, their impressive ray tracing abilities, 4k 60 fps, up to 8k resolution, up to 120 fps and 16 gb GDDR6 RAM, I know that I will have to spend 60 dollars or even more each year just to get online PSN membership, the original controller which comes with the console will last for a good 2.5-3 years.
And from then on I will have to buy a new controller worth approximately 80 dollars because not many sellers sell original controllers and in many countries, you can only buy a first copy or a second copy which doesn't last long and contantly has many issues. The console will work well for the first 3 years and after that, it will be required to repair again and again also not to mention that a single game on console cost's way more than on a gaming pc.
They do introduce new consoles like for eg the ps4 pro but to buy that you will have to buy a completely new console for another 400 dollars while on PC if you want to upgrade something then you can just buy that specific component instead of buying an entire new PC. Gaming PC's have a much wider selection of games, most games come out for pc and console both but pc even has access to much older games.
On a ps5 you will only be able to use 1 official controller that is the dual sense controller other than that you can only use a handful number of mouse and keyboards and perhaps only 1 VR headset. While in a PC you can plug in almost anything you want. You can only use a console for gaming while a pc can be a good tool for both work and play.
However, in the end, it all depends on what you want to play, if you like playing story games especially the sony exclusive games and are not interested in playing online multiplayer games then ps5 is the way to go for you. Still, the vast majority of games I want to play are on pc like valorant and csgo.
I have always been a big fan of online multiplayer games so getting a console is never a good choice for me. In short, if you want to get the most
powerful gaming setup for approx 500-600 dollars then the console is the right
choice but it won't stay like that forever and it doesn't go against any of the
points I mentioned above but it is worth considering.
Keep in mind if you are planning to buy a pc then you will have to assemble it or get it assembled which can go wrong sometimes while a console is always ready to go. In the end, I would still encourage you to buy a gaming pc, you will miss a few exclusive games but sill the pc master race experience is much more worth it in the end!
