And before we know it, it's the weekend again. In quarantine realizing how fast the week went by is quite a little surprise. Anyways weekend is about relaxing, throwing all your worries out the window, and just chill at home with your weekend feast.

Your weekend feast depends on what you like best whether it be a roast chicken with side dishes and wine or just a pizza with chips and drinks to go around. It is the food that feeds your soul.

FOOD: 

Here is our all-time favorite of crispy chicken wings that can be eaten as a snack or turned into a complete meal. 
Here is what you need and you need to start a day before you plan to have them in lunch or dinner.

Chicken wings 1kg 
Buttermilk 1/2 liter
 All-purpose flour 2 1/2 cups
1 cup breadcrumbs

Seasoning:

Salt to taste
Black pepper 1 Tbsp (we like it spicy)
Red chili powder 1 Teasp
Paprika 1/2 Teasp
Garlic powder 1Teasp
Sesame seeds (crushed or whole) 2Tbsp
Oil for frying.

Steps:

1: Preheat your oven  170℃.

2: Wash the wings and place them in an airlock bag and pour the buttermilk over them and let them rest for a good 4-6 hours. This will make the wings tender and juicy.

3: In a bowl or tray sifted flour then add breadcrumbs and the seasoning and mix well and keep it on aside.

4: Now take the chicken that is soaked in buttermilk and put it in the dry coating tray, for this you need to use your hands to coat them well.

5: Heat the oil in a deep pan and place your chicken wings in it once it's heated. Do not overcrowd the pan take your time frying the wings and take them out once they are golden and crispy.

6: Place the fried wings in a baking tray and place them in the oven for 20 mins. After this, you are ready to place them on your dinner table.

You can have baked potato wedges, a little crunchy salad along with plain rice to make it into a proper meal, or just have them with a dip while watching what you watch.
