FOOD:
Here is our all-time favorite of crispy chicken wings that can be eaten as a snack or turned into a complete meal.
Chicken wings 1kg
Buttermilk 1/2 liter
All-purpose flour 2 1/2 cups
1 cup breadcrumbs
Seasoning:
Salt to taste
Black pepper 1 Tbsp (we like it spicy)
Red chili powder 1 Teasp
Paprika 1/2 Teasp
Garlic powder 1Teasp
Sesame seeds (crushed or whole) 2Tbsp
Oil for frying.
Steps:
1: Preheat your oven 170℃.
2: Wash the wings and place them in an airlock bag and pour the buttermilk over them and let them rest for a good 4-6 hours. This will make the wings tender and juicy.
3: In a bowl or tray sifted flour then add breadcrumbs and the seasoning and mix well and keep it on aside.
4: Now take the chicken that is soaked in buttermilk and put it in the dry coating tray, for this you need to use your hands to coat them well.
5: Heat the oil in a deep pan and place your chicken wings in it once it's heated. Do not overcrowd the pan take your time frying the wings and take them out once they are golden and crispy.
6: Place the fried wings in a baking tray and place them in the oven for 20 mins. After this, you are ready to place them on your dinner table.
You can have baked potato wedges, a little crunchy salad along with plain rice to make it into a proper meal, or just have them with a dip while watching what you watch.
